WordPress, Blogger & Typepad! Who Wins The Race?
Blogging happens to be the most commonly used services utilized by companies in the present times to spread the utmost quantity of awareness about the goods as well as services they are offering. WordPress, Typepad and Blogger are one of the most common and prominent blogging platforms used by businesses today. The best thing about all of them is that they all operate on the same content management system. For this reason, businesses do not necessarily need to consult a web designing company or freelancer to make any kind of changes to the content they are posting. Both Blogger and Typepad offer simple and straightforward interlinking of the blog with social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter. Cost happens to create a big difference here. WordPress is offering blogging services for free whereas consequent charges are applied for other services such as uploading videos and audio. WordPress does not offer its users with unconstrained data storage capacity, and it is only limited to 3GB contrasting Typepad offers different storage capacities ranging from 100MB to 3GB under varying payment plans. WordPress users also cannot modify the Javascript in the blog templates. On the other hand, Blogger enables users to tweak the HTML and Java code. Blogger also confines the data storage as per a user’s account. - Access and Availability
The most imperative differences between Blogger and Typepad are that some of them have been banned in various countries such as Pakistan, Iran, and China unlike Typepad offers universal access. - Author’s Support
Typepad platform offers a multiple author support therefore a single account can be utilized by various people. On the other hand, Blogger does not support this feature. WordPress enables around 35 different authors for one blog though charges are to be compensated to tune of around $30 for every single blog. Blogger does support the feature of team blogging with around 100 fellow bloggers with the owner having the facility to decide which of the fellow bloggers will have managerial and exclusive access to the blog and which ones of them will not.
