Another Filipino Artist rules the world of Graphics, his name is Ian Jasper Reyes [a.k.a Vinc] 21 yrs old. A graduate of BSIT from Tarlac, Philippines. A member of a GFx Artists group – Distorted Pixel.

He is one of those people who inspires me to make more large arts. Same with his interest I love to make large arts of fantasy, somewhat creating pieces that is out of this world. Replace this one really amazed me, it also won as the Large Art of the Month at Pinoy Republic.

So I decided to feature him here to let you know how great he is. At the same time I have a brief interview with him.

Maybe it’s just 2 years ago or less since i first entered in the world of graphics design. It was just creating tags/signatures then later on after a few months i tried creating a bigger designs (Large Pieces). Being inspired is one of the reason why I’m still pushing to improve my designing skills.

When do you find great time messing up with adobe photoshop?

When i have nothing to do… A lot of idea comes in my mind mostly during nighttime. I dont know but maybe because it is so quiet.

Then I work on it in the morning.

But honestly, even though the concept was already there, the outcome mostly becomes quite different from the idea that was built in my mind.

 

What can you say about your artworks?

Hmm.. most of them are surreal because i like fantasy…it’s the only way i can portray something that does not exists in our world.

What can you say to young graphic artists who are aspiring to be like you?

All I can say is.. If you want to accomplish something, then always do your best. The more effort you put into it, the more bigger success you can achieve in the endline.
