Destruction comes creation, a series of paint in water sculptures

The idea behind this series was to show that from destruction comes creation. As the paint falls there is a constant point of creation, but at the same time it destroys itself.

This series is from the creative work of Chris Slabber who grew up in the small South African town of Oudtshoorn at the heart of the Klein Karoo. This was where he gained his love for Surrealism and surrounding genres. H started off studying fine arts from a young age and eventually began too apply this knowledge in a more design like way.

You can check his Behance portfolio for more creative works.

I love this type of art, it has really nice depth to it and you can see how the artist is capturing a lot of memories within a single picture. I think that, even though they’re digital, there is a real sense of naturalness inside of these pictures, and that is what makes them so great. Great collection, thanks for sharing! 🙂

  2. Great blending, nice artworks.
